Car Nicobar, Feb. 4: The 9th Edition of the Late Dr. B. Srikanth Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament successfully concluded today. The tournament, which commenced on 07.11.2025, witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 teams, including teams from various local Departments.
After a series of competitive matches played in the true spirit of sportsmanship, Mus Sporting Club and Small Lapathy Sporting Club emerged as the finalists. The final match played today and the toss was conducted by Shri Amit Kale, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar District, in the presence of Shri Rahul L. Nair, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Nicobar District, along with other distinguished dignitaries from the Islands.
The final match proved to be a thrilling, closely contested encounter, with both teams displaying exceptional skill. Ultimately, Small Lapathy Sporting Club emerged victorious, winning the final match amidst loud applause.
