Sri Vijaya Puram, June 2: In accordance with the A&N Islands Marine Fishing (Amendment) Rules, 2019, the period commencing from 1st day of June to 31st day of August, 2025 (inclusive of the day of commencement and day of expiry) shall be closed season for operation of Fishing Vessels for conducting Sport Fishing activity in A&N Waters. No permit shall be issued for Sport Fishing during the closed season.
The Sport Fishing vessel owners have been advised to strictly comply to the above closed season, failing which, action shall be initiated as per the provisions of the A&N Islands Marine Fishing Rules.
