Diglipur, Feb. 17: The concluding function of the 15-day short-term skill development training program on ‘Handicrafts-Coconut Shell’, organized by Extension Centre, Diglipur, Industries Department was held recently at Keralapuram, Diglipur. In her valedictory address, Smt. Bibi Afreen Nisha, Industries Promotion Officer highlighted the various departmental schemes and initiatives that support training programs, promote MSME development and facilitate local employment generation. A total of 15 trainees participated in the program to acquire basic skills and technical know-how in handicraft making, aiming to promote self-employment and strengthen the local economy.
The trainees were encouraged to utilize their newly acquired skills to pursue self-employment ventures for enhancing their livelihoods and contributing to sustainable community development.
