Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 23: A 5-day Peripatetic Training Programme on “Pension and Other Retirement Benefits, NPS and RTI” organized by Administrative Reforms and Training Wing (AR&Trg.) of the A&N Administration, in collaboration with the Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM), Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, New Delhi got underway today in the auditorium of TGCE. The training, scheduled from 23rd to 27th February, 2026, is designed for the Amalgamated Clerical Cadre staff of A&N Administration and staff from the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC). Smt. Sarala Chakraborty, Assistant Secretary (AR&Trg./PGC), A&N Administration, presided over the inaugural session as the chief guest and highlighted the importance of continuous capacity building and efficient Administration. The Institute of Secretariat Training & Management (ISTM) has deputed Shri Bhagban Padhy, Deputy Director, ISTM, to impart specialized training during the programme. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Smti B. Ganga Ratnam, Office Superintendent, AR&Trg. Wing, A&N Administration.
