Mayabunder, Feb. 27: Hatchlings of the Olive Ridley sea turtle 61 in numbers were safely guided to the sea at Turtle Beach, Karmatang, Mayabunder, under the supervision of staff of the Mayabunder Forest Division on Feb. 24.
The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of school children, teachers, officials of the ZSI, Heads of various Line Departments and general public. The event highlighted the importance of community involvement in protecting and conserving marine biodiversity, inspiring young minds to actively contribute towards safeguarding marine ecosystems.
