Hutbay, Mar. 1: The Department of AH&VS in collaboration with Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA), conducted a practical demonstration on ‘Vaccination & Deworming Importance in Poultry’ at the field of Smt. Jalpana Mistry in R K Pur. A total of 15 participants, mostly members of Self-Help Groups, witnessed the live demonstration of vaccination and deworming in poultry birds and were sensitised about its critical role in preventing mortality and maintaining flock health.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. R K Singh, Retired Joint Director of the Department, shared valuable insights on best practices. At the end of the programme, participants were distributed poultry feed worth Rs. 3,200/- to encourage adoption of scientific management. In another location, two dairy farmers were also supplied fodder stem cuttings to initiate backyard fodder plot development. The vote of thanks was proposed by Smti. Promila Roy, Pashu Sakhi.
