Fast Food Stall Udyami Training by SBI-RSETI Concludes

Sri Vijaya Puram, March 12: State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram has conducted 12 days Fast food stall Udyami training at Namunaghar Panchayat which was attended by 34 women from the nearby villages. Most of the trainees were members of NRLM SHG. 

The Valedictory programme was graced by Shri P K Ummer Farooq, Chief Manager UTLBC, SBI and Shri Goutam Banerjee, SPE (NRLM). Speaking on the occasion Shri Farooq congratulated the trainees for coming forward for learning a skill for income generation.  He assured all support from the banks for availing loans to establish their venture. Shri Gautam in his address shared that the Governments initiative aims to reduce poverty and promote sustainable livelihoods. He also advised the trainees to start their enterprise at the earliest and upon becoming successful, should also provide employment to few more ladies in the locality. He assured all support from the Department for putting up stalls by the trainees during melas.

Shri C Raj, Director of the Institute shared that the training was imparted at Namunaghar to reduce the travelling discomfort of the participants. He further advised them to put in use the skill learned for income generation.

The programme concluded by the certificate distribution to the trainees by the Guests and vote of thanks proposed by Shri P Kaliswaran, faculty of the institute.
