Sri Vijaya Puram, March 12: The State Level Technical Committee Meeting (SLTC) review meeting for fixation of scale of finance of various seasonal crops, vegetables, floriculture, fruits, spices, honeybee rearing, and Medicinal & Aromatic crops grown in A & N Islands including fixation of scale of finance to KCC- Fishermen and KCC- Animal Husbandry as working capital for the year 2026-27 was held on l2rh March 2O26 at 9.30 am AM in the Conference Hall of NABARD, R.O, A & N Islands under the Chairmanship of Shri. Rakesh Das, DANICS, Director of Agriculture, Sri Vijaya Puram, A & N Administration.
At the outset Shri Omkar Nath, AGM (Dev.), A & N SICB Ltd., Sri Vijaya Puram, welcomed Shri. Rakesh Das, DANICS, Chairman, SLTC, Shri. G. Santhanam, General Manager, NABARD, Dr. K A Naveen, Director, AH & VS, Shn. P K Ummer Farooq, Chief Manager, UTLBC(Convenor), Dr. K Gopal Joint Drector, Fisheries Dept., Shri. Jiju Kumar, ARCS, Cooperative Dept., Smti. Sreedevi, Joint Director, Agriculture Dept., Shri. Rakesh Pangat, DGM, NABARD, Shn. E. Pratap, DGM, NABARD, Shri. Dr. Prabhu P, Scientist, CAIRI, Shri. Gandhi Paroi, Farmer Representative from Ferrargunj and Shri. Avtar Singh Shri. Balaram Mistry Farmers representative from Rangat and Campbell Bay through virtual mode, Shri. Raghubir Singh, Managing Director (I/c), Member Secretary, SLTC, NABARD and ANSTCB Officials.
Shri. Omkar Nath, AGM (Dev.) highlighted the objective of calling this meeting for review the unit cost of previous scale of finance for the year 2025-26 for fixation of the unit cost of scale of finance for existing and new scale of finance for the year 2026’27 for implementation of KCC-Crpp, KCC- Animal Husbandry and KCC- Fishermen.
Thereafter, the Chairman Shri Rakesh Das and other members of SLTC took up the meeting in agenda wise and gave their valuable suggestions for more lending and better achievement in Agriculture Sector specially coverage of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) including KCC-Animal Husbandry & KCC-Fishermen to all farmers of A & N Islands, after reviewed the scale of financed has been approved for the year 2026-27.
All the farmers and general public are hereby by informed that the scale of finance for 2026-27 will be available with the branches of A & N State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Agriculture Dept., AII & VS Dept, Fisheries Dept-, and all Financing Institute of A & N Islands w.e.f. 1st April 2026 a communication received from the Member Secretary, State Level Technical Committee.
