Directorate of Social Welfare in Association with Hope Foundation Felicitates Children of CCIs for their Achievements in AISSCE and AISSE 2025

Sri Vijaya Puram, June 4: The Directorate of Social Welfare, Andaman and Nicobar Administration and Hope Foundation, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, have celebrated and honoured the Children of Child Care Institution functioning in Andaman Nicobar Islands for their marvellous achievements in AISSCE and AISSE 2025, with the coordination of the Child Welfare Committee, South Andaman. The Children of Child Care Institutions have successfully came out with flying colours in the CBSE Board examinations. All together 51 Children have appeared the 10th and 12th CBSE Board Examination out of which 47 Children have passed and reaming 04 children confided to compartment. The pass percentage of the Children of Child care Institution is 92.15% which is accounted to be high achievement in the History of Child Care Institutions. It could be only possible with the services provided by the Directorate of the Social Welfare Department, Child Welfare Committee and other stake holders.

Ld. Neyaz Alam Honourable Additional District Judge, District and Sessions Court South Andaman, being the Chief Guest distributed the prizes to the achievers and addressed the Children with a high degree of speech appealing to the Children to stick on to the time which decides their future. He added that the Children must be alert and careful in using gazette and Cell phone in the day to day life otherwise possibilities are more to land in wrong place. He appreciated all the Children those achieved in the CBSE Board examination, the Directorate of Social Welfare and Child Welfare Committee for best contribution to make the life of Children successful.  Ld Anupam Sircar respected Judicial Magistrate 1st Class addressed the children with his inspiring and motivational speech and quoted many examples how one can achieve their target of success in life. He added that fail is not a problem rather giving up is the problem in big achievements and success in life.

The Director, Directorate Social Welfare and Ms. Reeta Devi, Nodal Officer (Mission Vatsalya) addressed the Children with inspiring words to make their future with a quote of the eminent scientist and then Honourable President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who is the ever-living example to the Children and countrymen. The Director added that Directorate of Social Welfare has projected many programmes and schemes to the Children in need of care and Protection. Shri. Sujit Thankachen Chairman Child Welfare Committee welcomed the dignitaries and gathering, he briefed about the moto of celebration of Children of Child Care Institutions in the CBSE Board examination, to recognise the hard-working of the Children to achieve the success in CBSE Examination. He told that the Child Welfare Committee has organised counselling session for the Children of Child Care Institutions prior to they took the examination, which yielded high result.
