Sri Vijaya Puram, March 23: Under the Skill Development Programme, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is undertaking initiatives to enhance employability and provide industry-relevant technical skills to the youth of A&N Islands. As part of this effort, the Institute is shortly commencing a training programme in Manual Arc Welding / Shielded Metal Arc Welding, aimed at equipping participants with hands-on practical skills, improving their job readiness, and creating opportunities for self-employment as well as placement in the industrial sector.
In this connection, the Institute proposes to conduct a walk-in interview for engagement of an Instructor (Manual Metal Arc Welding / Shielded Metal Arc Welding) under PMKVY 4.0. Interested and eligible candidates have been asked to appear for the interview on 25.03.2026 at 10 AM at the Institute, along with all relevant original documents and testimonials for verification.
