Sri Vijaya Puram, March 25: The Hut Bay Police have achieved a significant breakthrough with the successful apprehension of accused from Jharkhand involved in FIR No. 78/25 dated 27/12/2025 U/s 303(2)/316(2)/318(4)/319(2)/336(3)/338/339/340(2) BNS, 2023 registered at Police Station Hut Bay.
Acting on credible intelligence and following sustained investigative efforts, a dedicated police team comprising of SI Debrata Raha, PCs K Mohan and Mohd Ayub of PS Hut Bay was deputed to mainland to trace and apprehend accused. Through persistent follow-up and effective coordination with local police authorities, the team successfully located accused and took him into custody.
Accused is alleged to have cheated the complainant through fraudulent means, resulting in significant financial loss. Upon completion of all legal formalities, accused has been brought to Sri Vijaya Puram and produced before the Hon’ble Court and from there he has been remanded to Judicial Custody.
