
Sri Vijaya Puram, March 30: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) successfully conducted its General House Meeting on 28/04/2026 at Hotel Peerless Resort, Corbyn’s Cove with active participation from its members.
In a significant step towards strengthening institutional governance and enhancing transparency, the General House deliberated in detail and unanimously approved amendments to the existing bye-laws of the Association.
The revised bye-laws aim to modernize the functioning of AATO and align its framework with current requirements of the tourism sector in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The Association has submitted the amended bye-laws to the competent authority for necessary approval, in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
AATO reiterates its commitment to the lawful and democratic functioning of the Association and to safeguarding the interests of the tourism industry and stakeholders across the islands.
