Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 8: The Andaman and Nicobar Administration is in the process of finalizing “The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Apartment Ownership Regulation, 2025”, which aims to facilitate individual registration of flats/apartments for the benefit of the residents of these islands. The draft regulation has been prepared by the Administration in coordination with all relevant line departments. This initiative aims towards regularizing and streamlining apartment ownership and registration processes in the Union Territory. In order to ensure transparency and inclusivity, the Administration is keen to incorporate the views and suggestions of the general public, especially from stakeholders associated with the real estate and housing sector. Accordingly, a stakeholder consultation meeting has been scheduled as per the following details:

This initiative is a progressive step towards safeguarding the interests of apartment owners and ensuring better governance in the housing sector.
