Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 24: The Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) successfully conducted the Selection Trials on 23.11.2025 at the ANCA Chess Centre, Dairy Farm to select players for the 51st National Women’s Chess Championship 2025, scheduled in West Bengal from December 3 to 13, 2025.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from women chess players. After a series of closely contested games, G. Sudha secured the first position, Agrima Singh stood second, while Chittiboina Mageswari and Agrata Singh claimed the third and fourth positions respectively, earning their place to represent the A&N Islands at the Nationals.
The selected players have been requested to submit their consent letter latest by 5:00 pm on 25.11.2025, failing which the next player in the merit list will be considered.
