Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 16: Applications have been invited from Boys & Girls for admission to Class VIII in Rashtriya Indian Military College, Deharadun. The written examination for the admission will be held on June 7, 2026. The eligibility criterions for admission are candidate should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at time of admission to RIMC, i.e on Jan 1, 2027; should be in age bracket of 11 ½ to 13 years as on 01 Jan 2027 i.e they should not be born earlier than Jan. 2, 2014 and not later than July 1, 2015.
The prospectus- cum-Application form and Booklet of Old Question Papers can be obtained from RIMC, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, PIN-248003 by making online payment of Rs.600/- for General Candidates & Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates on RIMC website https://rimc.edu.in (on receipt of payment, the prospectus- cum-Application form and Booklet of Old Question Papers will be dispatched by Speed Post only) or by sending a written request with a demand draft of Rs.600/- for General Candidates & Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with caste certificate in favour of “THE COMMANDANT RIMC FUND”, DRAWEE BRANCH, HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE-1399), UTTARAKHAND.
The Application Form issued by RIMC only shall be valid. Application Forms locally printed/ photocopied and without RIMC Hologram(seal) shall not be accepted. No refund of application fee will be done under any condition. Candidates should submit documents viz. Birth certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/ Gram Panchayat), Domicile Certificate of the candidate, SC/ST certificate (Where applicable), A certificate from the Principal of the current school in which the candidate is studying with photograph attested stating that date of birth (as per school records) and the class in which candidate is studying is to be submitted in original, Photocopy of Aadhar Card of the Candidate (both sides) is a mandatory requirement dialing of which application will be rejected and two passport size photographs.
Application Form should reach respective State Governments (TGCE, Sri Vijaya Puram) by 05.04.2026. Application form must be sent to the State Government and not to the RIMC, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
