Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 27: The Department of AH&VS conducted an awareness program on Artificial Insemination (AI), Semen Sexing Sorting (SSS), and bull castration on Oct. 24 at the Veterinary Hospital, Campbell Bay. The program was attended by the Pramukh and Up-Pramukh of Campbell Bay, the Pradhan of Govind Nagar Gram Panchayat, the Up-Pradhan of Campbell Bay Gram Panchayat, and other Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members. Their participation highlighted the community’s commitment to advancing animal husbandry techniques in the region.
Veterinary experts provided detailed information on AI and SSS methods to improve breeding outcomes and the benefits of bull castration for better herd management. The sessions emphasized practical applications to support sustainable farming and economic growth for local livestock keepers.
