New Delhi, Dec. 16: Shri Bishnu Pada Ray, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands held a meeting on 10.12.2025 with Shri Subodh Kumar Jain, Managing Director along with his team from Siddho Mal Group at New Delhi.
During the meeting, the Siddho Mal Group expressed their intention to set up a Desalination Plant of 5,000 litres capacity at Sri Vijaya Puram under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The proposed project aims to provide safe and potable drinking water to nearly 10,000 people, offering significant relief to residents of Sri Vijaya Puram facing drinking water scarcity.
The MP appreciated and welcomed this noble initiative and conveyed his sincere thanks to the Siddho Mal Group for extending CSR support towards improving access to safe drinking water for the people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
