Camp Court Organised at Radhanagar GP as Part of ‘Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’

Mayabunder, Jan. 5: As part of the outreach programme ‘Sampark Se Samadhan – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore’, a Camp Court was held at the Gram Panchayat Hall, Radhanagar, on 2nd January, 2026, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman, Shri Sushant Padha, IAS. The programme aims to take Administration directly to villages, hear public grievances, and ensure prompt redressal.

The Camp Court was attended by senior officers from the Civil Administration, Police, Health, Public Works, Agriculture, Fisheries, Forest, Supply, Rural Development Departments, along with elected representatives of the Panchayati Raj Institutions of Radhanagar Panchayat.

During the interaction, a range of concerns and representations were received, many of which were addressed and resolved on the spot. Matters requiring inter-departmental coordination have been identified and are being taken up with concerned Departments for systematic follow-up. Concerned Departments were directed to take time-bound action.

The APWD assured completion of road repair works within one month, while the Civil Supplies Department committed to ensuring timely LPG cylinder distribution. The Health Department was directed to address shortages at the PHC, including deployment of doctors and regular supply of medicines. Revenue and BSNL officials were instructed to jointly inspect locations for improving mobile network connectivity.

Following the Camp Court, the Deputy Commissioner and accompanying officers conducted field inspections on 2nd and 3rd January, 2026 at PHC Radhanagar, Raja Plot, Shyamnagar, and Swarajgram villages. Issues such as water scarcity, nallah blockage, flooding during monsoon and high tides, encroachment of public land, and infrastructure gaps were assessed on-site. Directions were issued for construction of ring wells, clearance of nallas, submission of technical estimates, and coordinated action among departments.

The Administration reiterated its commitment to responsive, transparent, and people-centric governance, emphasizing that such outreach programmes will continue to ensure effective delivery of public services and speedy grievance redressal.
