Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 20: Coconut Development Board, State Centre Sri Vijaya Puram conducted ‘Technical Enrichment Programme’ for officials of Department of Agriculture, A & Islands on 18 th November, 2025 in the conference hall of Agriculture Department for South Andaman and another on 20 th November, 2025 at KVK, Nimbudera for North & Middle Andaman.
The programme at Sri Vijaya Puram was inaugurated by Smt. Rekha, Joint Director of Agriculture, South Andaman. Coconut Development Board schemes and new guidelines were detailed by Smt. Jayashree A, Deputy Director, Regional Office Coimbatore. Technical session was handled by Dr. Ajit Arun Waman, Senior Scientist, ICAR-CIARI.
The programme at KVK, Nimbudera was inaugurated by Smt Shirley Thomas, Joint Director of Agriculture, North and Middle Andaman. Coconut Development Board schemes and new guidelines were detailed by the Deputy Director, Regional Office Coimbatore. Technical sessions were handled by Shri Yathrat Sharma, SMS and Shri Rakesh Dawar, SMS, KVK, Nimbudera.
Altogether 60 field level officials of Department of Agriculture participated in the training programmes conducted by Coconut Development Board.
