CPI (M) Organises Raj Niwas March to Highlight the Failure of BJP Ruled Central Government and its Administration

Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 22: Communist Party of India (Marxist) has organised Raj Niwas March today (22.08.2025) afternoon highlighting the failure of the BJP-ruled central government and its Administration on four core sectors of Power, Health, Roads and Shipping. A large number of party workers and sympathizers participated in the March. The Raj Niwas March which began from the Gandhi statue at Mohanpura was stopped near Raj Niwas (CAT junction). A memorandum addressed to the Lt Governor was submitted at Raj Niwas. 

Addressing the participants in the Raj Niwas March at the concluding point near Raj Niwas, D. Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) held the central government responsible for the present power crisis, deplorable condition of roads including NH4, poor condition of health care system and failing shipping sector. He said that 11 years of Modi rule has ruined the development of the islands.  Promises made by the BJP during the elections turned out to be hollow, with the problems in the islands increasing rapidly.        

Addressing the gathering, D. Laxman Rao, State Secretariat Member criticized the BJP MP and central government for the sufferings of the islanders. P. Sathyapal, Secretary, Port Blair City Area Committee, NKP Nair, Area Committee Member and senior leader Pronob Banerjee also addressed the gathering.  The Raj Niwas March was led by D. Ayyappan, Secretary, Dr Gouranga Majhi, State Secretariat Member and SP Kalairajan, SOC Member. 

At Diglipur, the AC Office March was organised by the CPI (M) North Andaman Area Committee from CPI (M) Area Committee office to Mini Civil Station, Diglipur. A large number of party workers of Diglipur area participated in the March.  A delegation of CPI (M) leaders comprising Dilip Karmakar, Sunil Bepari, AVA Samad and Barun Biswas submitted a Memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur. 

At Rangat, a delegation of CPI (M) leaders Projit Kumar Sarkar, PK Khalid and SR Mridha submitted a Memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner, Rangat on the issues of four sectors of Power, Health, Roads and Shipping.
