Rangat, March 27: On 23.03.2026, a Cyber Awareness Session was conducted by Insp. Mohd. Sameer, SHO, PS Rangat at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Panchwati for students and teaching staff to promote safe and responsible use of the internet. The session covered key topics including safe social media practices, cyberbullying, online gaming risks, password security, digital footprint awareness, phishing scams, prevention of online frauds, and responsible internet usage. Students were also informed about cyber laws and mechanisms for reporting cyber offences.
Around 250 students and teachers actively participated, making the session interactive and impactful. The initiative highlights the N&MA District Police’s continued commitment to spreading cyber safety awareness.
