Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 2: As part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the Directorate of Sports organized ‘Open Cycle Rally for Men & Women’ today from Netaji Stadium. On this occasion, eminent sports person of A&N Islands, Ms. Deborah Herold, International Cyclist and ASI, A&N Police as chief guest, flagged off the Cycle Rally. As part of this event, altogether 50 participants from School, College and various organizations as well as general public participated in the 12 Km rally which started from Netaji Stadium’s to Chatham Chowk and returned back to Netaji Stadium. The Directorate of Sports continuous its commitment to the Island community by regularly organizing such accessible sporting events.
