Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 18: A non-residential coaching class in Football at three venues, i.e, Dollygunj ground, Bhatubasti ground, and Rangachang School ground is being conducted by Deputy Education Officer, South Andaman. The schools going Boys and Girls 8 to 17 years are eligible to attend the Coaching Class which is free of cost. The coaching camp was inaugurated by Shri. Vikram Singh, Director of Education & Sports at GSSS Bhatubasti ground today.
In his inaugural address, the chief guest Shri Vikram Singh, Director of Education said that the main motto of conducting these sports activities is to keep students away from drugs, etc. He especially encouraged the girl students asked them to spend their free time in the sports fields. About, 200 children from various schools attended the camp. Shri. Biswanath Sen, Asst. Director (Sports & PE), Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, proposed the vote of thanks.
