Department of Sports and Youth Affairs Organises State Level Presentation Round of Viksit Bharat Challenge Track

Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 19: Under the guidelines of Ministry Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Andaman & Nicobar Administration organized the State Level presentation round of Viksit Bharat Challenge Track for the students who are screened out through multiple stages such as online Viksit Bharat Quiz and Online Essay rounds as a part of Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue on the themes related to vision of Viksit Bharat.

46 Nos of students were selected for the presentation round by the Ministry. Further, students were called to the State level Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue in JNRM College, Sri Vijaya Puram in the lecture assembly hall. Out of 46, only 18 Nos. of youth from various educational institutes participated.

Youths from various districts of A&N Islands participated in the State Level round at Sri Vijaya Puram. As part of the presentation round online evaluation of candidate who were out of station.

Young people aged 15-29 years prepared presentations and presented their ideas and vision on  Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Make in India Make for the World, Bharat’s Soft Power: Cultural Diplomacy and Global Influence for Viksit Bharat, Building a Sustainable and Green Viksit Bharat, Enhancing Productivity through Smart and Sustainable Agriculture, Fit Bharat Hit Bharat, Innovation with Tradition: Building a Modern Bharat, Making India the Start Up Capital of the world, Women led Development: The Key to Viksit Bharat, Youth in Democracy and Government for Viksit Bharat.

Assessment of youth presentation on the basis of clarity of vision, innovation and creativity, feasiblility and implementation, impact and Leadership assessment was done by the jury and moderator from Ministry as well for the Viksit Bharat Challenge round.

At the end youth shared their experience and learning about the Government schemes, programs, society, environment and economics of India throughout the process and various stages of Viksit Bharat Challenge Track. Participation certificates were provided to the youth who participated in the state championships.     

The state championship ended with address by Dr. Leelamani, Associate Professor, Dr. Vivek Kumar Sahu, Assistant Professor and Shri T Harish Kumar, Leadership assessment moderator on the objective of  Viksit Bharat to transform India into a Developed India, Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
