Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 1: The District Magistrate, South Andaman has notified for the information of all concerned that due to traffic congestion in certain areas in Sri Vijaya Puram and in order to ensure free flow of vehicular traffic, the following link roads have been declared as “ONE WAY” in the public interest.
1) Road leading from RBV Junction to Mitali Book Store, Junglighat with entry from RBV Junction side and exit towards Mitali Book store, Junglighat for all types of vehicles except two wheelers and emergency vehicles i.e. Ambulance and Fire Tender from 0700 hrs to 2000 hrs.
2) Road leading from Deen Street to Chennai Store, Junglighat with entry from opposite Chennai Store, Junglighat and exit towards Deen Street, VIP Road for all types of vehicles except two wheelers and emergency vehicles i.e. Ambulance and Fire Tender from 0700 hrs to 2000 hrs.
Good decision taken, but can it help, can Traffic police control the situation,?
Suggestion –
Maximum vehicles parked both side roads, Main Road should be no sparking zone, (example one shop is in road side, in front of shop, owner parked a car, ) space taken half of road, mainly Goal ghar to Minnie Bay, Request if u can remove or that PMT parking road side that will be better, u all have seen Mumbai, chennai, Hyderabad, they picked vehicle and taken fine 200/- for two wheeler, 500/ for four wheeler in first time respectively, should be adhere, Request think, 🙏
