
Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 31: Padma Shri awardee and internationally renowned scientist Dr. Ajai Kumar Sonkar will be part of the high-level Indian delegation at the 38th Moscow International Book Fair (3–7 September 2025). The delegation will depart from New Delhi for Moscow in the early hours of 2nd September.
At the prestigious India Pavilion, Dr. Sonkar will participate in three important scientific talks and also chair one session.
In his presentations, Dr. Sonkar will address highly scientific themes exploring the depths of Indian traditions, the global significance of yoga and value-systems, and the emerging frontiers of modern science and technology. His talks will highlight how India’s ancient wisdom continues to be relevant and valuable for the contemporary world.
In addition, Dr. Sonkar will chair the session on Indian Food and its Diversity, where Indian cuisine will be showcased as a cultural bridge linking India with the global community.
Speaking about his upcoming participation, Dr. Sonkar said, “Indian traditions are not merely cultural heritage but living sciences. Yoga, food, and our philosophical outlook provide humanity with pathways toward health, balance, and cosmic unity.”
