Sri Vijaya Puram, June 4: e-Prospectus-cum-Application forms for admission to Four Year Integrated Programme in Education viz. B.Sc. B.Ed. (Mathematics and Computer Science), B.A. B.Ed. (English, Hindi and History) for the academic session 2025-26 under revised NCTE Regulation 2014 in Tagore Government College of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram will be available online at http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in from 5th June, 2025.
Four Year Integrated Courses in Education is a dual degree programme designed as integrated programmes of Teacher Education aimed to prepare competed teachers for school education. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must have passed 10+2 examination of a recognized Board in the concerned subject. It is for four-year duration organized on the semester pattern with two semesters in each year with total eight semesters.
The course of study includes general education consisting of language (Hindi and English) and specialized subjects. The professional part of the course consists of studies in the foundation, general special methodology, and a comprehensive internship programme in the field. It is a course of highly specialized nature in Teacher Education where a student is given specialized training to become a teacher soon after one completes schooling along with academic subjects.
