Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 3: It is hereby brought to the notice of all consumers of the Electricity Department that as a significant consumer friendly initiative, all future communications including electricity bills, power supply updates and other related information shall be disseminated in electronic mode and through push SMS to the consumers on their registered mobile numbers. Further the department is in the process of developing a feedback system to assess the service delivery & outreach of Govt. scheme & programmes among the consumers. The system will be integrated with the billing software and can fetch details on entry of name or mobile numbers to facilitate convenience.
All consumers are therefore requested to provide their own contact number or any responsible family member to the concerned site offices for updation in their consumer profile. This initiative is intended to facilitate timely dissemination of information and to enhance consumer convenience.
