Sri Vijaya Puram, May 11: The Government with a view to augment the income of the farmers, launched the Central Sector Scheme – “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi” (PM-KISAN) during the financial year of 2018-19 which is 100% funded by Govt. of India. Under the Scheme, eligible farmer families receive financial benefits of Rs. 6000/- per year payable in 3 equal installments of Rs. 2000/- each, every four months.
Till now, 19 Installments have been released by the Gol. The 19th Installment was released by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 24th February, 2025 directly to the bank accounts of the PM KISAN beneficiaries. The 20th Installment is expected to be released tentatively in the month of June, 2025 for the period April to July.
To ensure that no eligible farmer is left out under the PM-KISAN, The Ministry has launched a month- long nationwide PM-KISAN Saturation Campaign from 1st May, 2025 to 31st May, 2025. The left out farmers may attend the campaign in their respective Gram panchayat with their the documents viz. Latest Land Records, Bank Account Pass Book, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card.
Other PM-KISAN beneficiaries who have so far not done their land seeding, e-KYC and Bank Account seeding with Aadhaar is requested to complete the process before 31st May 2025. If the mandatory requirements are not done, then the benefits of 20th Installment will not be released to them in time.
For any query/doubt related to land seeding, Bank Account seeding & e-KYC, the beneficiaries can also contact the concerned Zonal Agriculture Office/ Field Extension functionaries of Agriculture Department. Self-registration and e-KYC may be done only through the official website of PM-KISAN portal & PM-KISAN app and it is advised not to download or use any other applications.
