On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day of India, I convey my warm greetings and best wishes to all residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
This historic day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on 26th January 1950, marking the foundation of our nation as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular and Democratic Republic. The strength of our democracy lies in its unity in diversity, a value that continues to inspire the world and guide our journey towards a Viksit Bharat.
Republic Day offers an opportunity to remember with deep gratitude the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the vision of the architects of our Constitution, whose ideals of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity remain the cornerstone of our nation.
On this momentous occasion, I extend my sincere wishes for peace, harmony and well-being to the people of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. May our Islands continue to progress on the path of inclusive development and lasting prosperity.
