Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 9: The Southern Zonal Level School Band Competition 2025 going to be held from 11th to 13th December 2025 at the Sports Complex Playground of Prof. Jayashankar Telangana Agriculture University, Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana. This prestigious annual event will witness the participation of school band teams from across the Southern states of this country.
Representing the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, winners of the state level band competition viz the VKV School Lambaline Boys Band, Sri Vijaya Puram, and the Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School Girls Band will compete in the South zonal-level competition. The teams will depart for Hyderabad on 10th December 2025.
Ahead of their departure, a blessing ceremony was held today, during which Smti. Archana Singh, HoO/DDE (Planning), Department of Education, A & N Administration graced the occasion as the chief guest and extended her blessings and best wishes to all participating students, in the presence of Shri Mohd. Irshad Ahmed, Asst. Director (PE/Sports) and State Coordinator.
