Sri Vijaya Puram, March 6: It has come to the notice that tourists visiting the Island often faces difficulties during medical emergencies due to the absence of basic emergency and first aid kits in Hotels, Guest Houses and Homestays of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
In this regard, Hotel managements and hospitality establishments have been advised to ensure the availability of essential emergency first aid kits in their accommodation units for ensuring immediate aid for emergency medical situations.
