Identification and Assessment Camp Organised in Nancowrie

Nancowrie, July 29: An Identification and Assessment Camp under Inclusive Education was organized yesterday at the Conference Hall of the Assistant Education Office, Nancowrie. The chief guest, Shri Om Prakash, Block Project Officer Nancowrie, addressed the gathering emphasizing the Department’s commitment to creating an enabling and inclusive educational environment. Dr. M.A. Tanzeer, Medical Officer, and Ms. Kalyani Das, Mukhya Sevika, also shared their insights on the welfare needs for Children with Special Needs (CwSN).

The assessment camp was attended through online mode by Children with Special Needs. Students and suspected children from two venues under BPO Nancowrie viz. Conference Hall, Assistant Education Office, Nancowrie and Govt. Senior Secondary School Kapanga, Katchal attended the camp.

At Conference Hall, AEO Nancowrie, a total of 12 identified CwSN students and 06 suspected students attended the camp along with their parents. From Govt. Senior Secondary School Kapanga, Katchal, 04 identified CwSN students and 03 suspected children attended along with their parents. Additionally, a distribution camp was held as part of the event. Aid and appliances were handed over to eligible CwSN students.
