He said that one should not scare of the word assessment as it is a tool to enhance the efficiency of an institution. According to him, firstly each and every institution should keep their websites updated and user-friendly, as it does shape the public perception about the institute. An updated website with all details about institute`s academic and extra-curricular activities, information about various cells, FAQ, virtual tour of the campus, working email id and contact number of officials etc. can create an enormous positive impact on the visitor.
Institutions should actively be able to consolidate all data from various departments and keep in IQAC and update on the website as well, he said. He also emphasized that institutions should not shy from going through various assessment (NIRF, NIRF Innov., NAAC) from the regulating institutions. Moreover, institution should also conduct regular assessment of teachers, audit of various aspects of the institution such as Green Audit, Waste Audit, Energy Audit to keep the institutions ready for any kind of assessment. It should be seen as an excellent opportunity to identify the inadequate areas, so that institution can work on that and become more efficient, he added.
