Sri Vijaya Puram, March 3: International Master Akshat Khamparia, renowned chess trainer and promoter from Madhya Pradesh, is currently on a visit to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He is the first player from Central India to hold the prestigious International Master title.
In this connection, the Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) will be organizing a Chess Simultaneous Exhibition (Simul) on 4th March 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM near the Marina Park Main Gate.
The event will provide a unique opportunity for local chess enthusiasts and budding players to interact with and play against an International Master of vast competitive and training experience.
Interested chess players who wish to participate in the chess simul are requested to register their names at the earliest by contacting G. Sudha, Office Executive, Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA), at 9933217055. As seats are limited, entries will be accepted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants are requested to attend the simul wearing white T-shirts.
