Port Blair, June 15: A Medical team consisting of Doctors (Ayurveda) & Para Medical Staff of Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Port Blair, a unit of CCRAS under Ministry of AYUSH, Port Blair will be conducting free Ayurveda Health Camp and Survey at Kinmai, Small Lapathy, Big Lapathy, Kinyuka, Tapoiming, Chuckchucha, Arong and Mus villages of Car Nicobar from June 16 to 29, 2023.

Power supply will remain suspended at Shadipur, South Point, Mazaar Pahad, Machi Line, RGT Road, Govt. Press, JNRM College, Buniyadabad, AIR, DDK Colony, part of Delanipur, part of Prem Nagar, Coast Guard Enclave, Coast Guard HQ, Coast Guard Jetty, Panipath Road & Fortress Head Quarter, Haddo, Haddo Wharf, Foreshore Road and upto Civil Aviation Delanipur on June 17 from 7.30 am to 3 pm in connection with rectification of cable fault of Zebra-I Tie line near Chatham Saw Mill and shifting of electric pole of VOR Tie Line at Shadipur.

Port Blair, June 13: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to start direct ferry from Port Blair to Long Island on alternative days to promote tourism of Long Island.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament mentioned that despite its breath-taking beaches and natural charm, Long Island is still struggling to establish itself as a major player in the tourism industry.

Port Blair, June 13: An open Body Hunt 3 NPC Men’s Physique and Classic Body Building Men’s & Women’s Championship was held successfully on 11th June 2023 at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Auditorium. The aim of the competition was to create awareness about the sport and to encourage the youths of the Islands to learn the sport and lead a healthy life.
