Port Blair, June 8: Due to administrative reasons, the scheduled sailing of the vessel Sindhu for Little Andaman on 09.06.2023 at 0900 hrs from Haddo Wharf and return to Port Blair on the same day at 2100 hrs from Little Andaman has been revised. Now, the vessel Sindhu will sail for Little Andaman on 09.06.2023 at 2200 hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 10.06.2023 at 0900 hrs from Little Andaman.

Port Blair, June 8: The e-prospectus-cum-application forms for admission to four years Integrated Programme in Education viz. B.Sc. B.Ed. Mathematics and Computer Science, B.A.B.Ed. English, Hindi and History for the academic session 2023-24 under revised NCTE Regulation 2014 in Tagore Government College of Education will be available online at http://collegeadmission.andaman.gov.in from 9th June, 2023.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of Smt. Jhansi Suresh (Aged 66 Yrs.) W/o Shri Suresh Ram R/o Prothrapur, who left for heavenly abode on today 08.06.2023 at G. B. Pant Hospital at 05.30 PM. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to her bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Port Blair, June 8: The Department of Industries, A&N Administration has been implementing a Centrally Sponsored Scheme ‘Pradhan Mantri Scheme for Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME)’ launched under Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan with the objective to strengthen backward/ forward linkages, common infrastructure, packaging, branding & marketing of products of micro food processing enterprises.

Port Blair, June 7: The Member of Parliament, A&N Islands Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested for immediate induction of New Vehicle Ferries on lease or on contract in Chatham-Bambooflat Route and Middle Strait sector.

In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, the Member of Parliament mentioned that recently the services of the MV Pilobhabi was withdrawn from the Chatham-Bambooflat route, leaving only two vehicle ferries to operate in this area. Additionally, the MV Mus is currently under repair, resulting in an enormous pressure on two vehicle ferry vessels on this route. As a result, the public is facing huge inconvenience and hardship.
