Kuldeep Rai Sharma today requested the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration to direct the NHIDCL officials to make the NH4 stretch of North Andaman moterable and ensure the safety of ATR Commuters.

Port Blair, May 16: A staff of the Port Management Board today lost his feet when the rope tied for towing a pantoon broke. The accident took place as Chatham Jetty when efforts were being made to tow a big pantoon.

Port Blair, May 16: Former State President BJP-ANI, Shri Vishal Jolly in a letter to the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration has raised the issue of providing immediate relief to victim family upon whose house an Old Tree had fallen on 30th April, 2022.
In his letter Jolly stated that a sad state of affairs prevailing over Pokadera Panchayat of Mayabunder Tehsil, North & Middle Andaman District wherein an “Old Big Tree” had fallen over the dwelling house of one Smti. Shanta Kumari, causing heavy damage to the house and properties.

Port Blair, May 15: The Andaman & Nicobar Media Federation (ANMF) has deeply mourned the sad demise of Shri J.N. Choudhary (Dweep Bhandu), Editor, Shaheed Bhoomi, who passed away at 01.35 AM on 15/05/2022 at GB Pant Hospital, Port Blair. He was 90 years.
