Port Blair, May 8: The Andaman & Nicobar Administration has assigned the task of preparing the Integrated Island Management Plan (IIMP) for Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep (NSCB Dweep) to the National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM), Chennai, in accordance with the Island Coastal Regulation Zone (ICRZ) Notification, 2019.

Port Blair, May 8: The Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan in association with Science Centre Port Blair organized a State Level Camp for the selected students of class VI to XI on 10th December, 2023. In the State Level Camp, three students from each class were selected as first, second & third position winners. The students who secured first & second positions from each class were declared qualified to participate in the National Level Camp to be held on May 18 & 19, 2024 at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Diglipur, May 8: In exercise of power conferred under M.V. Mayabunder, May 8: The election of Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh/Up-Adhyaksha for the 3rd year term of Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman has been postponed due to administrative reason and will now be held on May 13, 2024 at 10.30 am in the Conference Hall of DC’s Office, N&MA, Mayabunder. Oath will be administered to the newly elected Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh/Up-Adhyaksha on the same day at 3 pm in the Community Hall, Gram Panchayat Pokadera (Danapur).

Port Blair, May 8: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Regional Centre Port Blair distributes study materials/SLM to the learners of July, 2023 session (Fresh and RR). The learners who have not received the study materials till date are advised to collect his/her study material from the IGNOU Regional Centre, opposite to Air Cargo Complex, VIP Road, Port Blair during its working hours. Further it is also informed that the last date for submission of assignments for June-2024 Term End Exam is extended upto 15th May, 2024.
