Sindhu will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 14.10.2022 (Fri) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 16.10.2022 (Sun) at 0900 Hrs from Campbell Bay via Nancowry.

MV Kalighat will sail for Campbell Bay via Little Andaman, Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa, Katchal & Nancowry on 18.10.2022 (Tue) at 1000 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 21.10.2022 (Fri) 1200 Hrs from Campbell Bay via same route. Passenger Tickets for onward journey will be issued to the general public from 15.10.2022 (Sat) onwards at STARS Ticketing Counter, Phoenix Bay.

Port Blair, Oct. 12: As the adolescence are on the verge of progressing towards adulthood, the Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Prothrapur today organised a Career Guidance Session for its students to enable them to choose a career wisely. Resource persons from different fields viz. Industries, ITI, Banking Sector, Police and Journalism were invited to brief and guide the students of Class XI and XII.

Diglipur, Oct. 12: In continuation to zero tolerance policy against any kind of crime, PS Diglipur staff have cracked a burglary case within a short span of time and arrested one accused person and recovered the stolen cash and other articles.

Port Blair, Oct. 12: The District Administration has been receiving complaints regarding considerable delay in survey and registration/re-validation of Inland Vessel since the inspection by Surveyors from Port Management Board and District Administration was done separately. Taking into consideration the hardships faced by the vessel owners, a meeting was held by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman with all stakeholders and it was decided that the inspection shall be conducted jointly by the team of Port Management Board and District Administration on a single day. This will reduce the time taken for inspection procedure which normally requires 2-3 months and now the whole procedure shall be completed with 20-25 days.
