Port Blair, July 12: Today a Delegation of Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, Nagarpalika Swachtha Karmachari Sangh along with Shri Vishal Jolly, National Executive Committee Member, BJP, met Shri. Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Secretary, PBMC on the issues of releasing 1/30th to all DRMs.
Secondly, Shri. Vishal Jolly requested to expedite the works for providing the basic services such as Drinking water, toilet facilities in all Sanitary sections.

Port Blair, July 12: The online registration of candidates for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for admission to Class VI for the next academic year 2024-25 in JNV, Chouldari has already started. The last date for the submission of application online is 10th August, 2023 and the test is scheduled on 20th January, 2024. The application forms are to be submitted online only through the Website http://navodaya.gov.in.

Port Blair, July 11: With the support of the Directorate of Science & Technology, KVIC, Mumbai, the A&N Islands Khadi and Village Industries Board has successfully installed 10 spindle solar powered charkhas and semi-automatic solar looms in the District Jail, Prothrapur, Port Blair. This has been implemented under the field trials/dissemination/demonstration of 10 spindle solar charkha and solar looms technology of KVIC, Mumbai.
