Port Blair, July 16: The Directorate of Transport is in the process of implementing Vahan 4.0. It is expected to be launched during the month of August 2020. In order to facilitate the migration of existing data to the new software version, the transactions related to Registration of Motor Vehicles has to be stopped temporarily.

The Protest by the Students is Legit: Kuldeep Rai Sharma

Port Blair, July 15: The National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) today carried a massive protest in wake of the UGC Guidelines which states that the 3^rd year students will have to give their exams in September. The protest was organized at the Gandhi Statue, Aberdeen Bazar where hundreds of youth members of NSUI led by its President, MA Sajid had gathered under the leadership of Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands.
