A&N Records an Overall Pass Percentage of 94.48%

Port Blair, May 13: The result of All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination 2023-24 (Class XII) has been announced today. As per the results downloaded from the website of CBSE, out of 4858 students who appeared in class XII from the Government and Private Schools in A & N Islands, 4590 students have passed and 219 students have been placed in compartment. The overall pass percentage of A & N Islands stood at 94.48%.

Port Blair, May 13: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the much-awaited results for Classes 10 and 12 today. Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has conveyed his warmest felicitations to all the students of Andaman and Nicobar Islands who have successfully cleared their CBSE Class X and Class XII examinations.

Port Blair, May 13: The A&N Police is thrilled to announce the inauguration of its highly anticipated "Summer Camp" in a grand Opening Ceremony held at the Drill Hall, Police Lines, on May 13th, 2024.

The event was filled by an atmosphere of excitement as a total of 246 registration forms were filled up. The participants along with their families, and community members gathered to witness the unveiling of this enriching initiative.

Mayabunder, May 13: Shri Dilkhush Meena, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman conducted a meeting of Zilla Parishad Members for the election of Adhyaksha & Up-Adhyaksh for the 3rd year term of North & Middle Andaman Zilla Parishad in the Conference Hall of District Office, Mayabunder. Smti Elizabeth, Zilla Parishad Member from Mayabunder Constituency and Shri Tapas Roy, Zilla Parishad Member from Rangat Constituency were elected for the post of Adhyaksha and Up-Adhyaksh respectively.

Port Blair, May 13: The District Child Protection Unit under District Administration, South Andaman, in collaboration with Andaman Avians Club celebrated ‘Endemic Bird Day’, by organizing a two days summer camp for the children of various Child Care Institutions on May 10 &11, 2024.

The event focused on introduction to birding and developed insight among the children towards captivating world of birds and the importance of habitat conservation.
