Port Blair, June 11: Ministry of Home Affairs has developed a “National Cybercrime Reporting Portal viz. www.cybercrime.gov.in” for ease of filling of complaints relating to cybercrimes by citizens on “anywhere, anytime” basis with special focus on cybercrimes against women and children. An AI based chat bot is also available to help and assist citizens in filling complaints on the portal. Further, a toll free helpline 155260 has been made operational in all States/UTs to assist citizens on Cybercrimes. Moreover, a Twitter handle @cyberdost is also there to spread awareness related to safeguarding the citizens against cybercrimes.

Port Blair, June 10: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators has raised objections to the recent move of the Tourism Department to hike the ticket fares for Light and Sound Shows.

Amid the catastrophe, an order was passed by the Directorate of IP&T hiking the fares of the light and sound shows at Cellular Jail and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island by leaps and bounds. This action stands all the more perturbing considering its timing.
