Port Blair, April 16: A two-day workshop on Madhubani Art and Craft Activity for children was organised at Bageecha – an initiative of Andaman Chronicle on 15th and 16th April 2023. The workshop was led by Smti Neha Bajaj, Fevicryl certified artist. The workshop saw an overwhelming response with more than 30 school children participating and learning the art from.

Port Blair, April 16: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has sanctioned Rs. 18,00,000 (Eighteen Lakhs Rupees) for the Installation of (LED) Flood lights and Construction of a multipurpose stage at Forest Playground of Oralkatcha, Baratang, for development of sports and games in the region.

Port Blair, April 16: Congress Campaign Committee Chairman, A&N Islands, Mr. TSG Bhasker on Friday interacted with local Congress leaders of Long Island. During the meeting, Mr. Bhasker heard the suggestions and concerns of local leaders to strengthen the organization at grassroot level. He also discussed other matters relating to the efficient political system in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and the future growth and development of the region.

Port Blair, April 16: The Andaman Nicobar Chess Association (ANCA) in collaboration with Khalsa Public School, Port Blair will be conducting a Chess Summer Camp 2023 for Kids for the age group between 4 & 10 years from 1st May 2022 to 15th June 2023 at Khalsa Public Sr. Sec. School, Gurudwara Lane, Port Blair.

Port Blair, April 16: April 18th is celebrated as World Heritage Day and INTACH Andaman and Nicobar Chapter this year took the event to far away Kanyapuram.

Students of Govt. Middle School, Kanyapuram participated in a creative painting workshop organized by INTACH on April 16, 2023.  INTACH donated the book “Anmol Dweep” to 60 students and they had a lot of fun coloring away.
