Port Blair, Nov. 16: The State Institute of Education, Port Blair will be conducting the NMMSS Examination in A&N Islands on Dec. 29, 2023 under the guidance of Ministry of Education (MoE). The Selection Test/ Examination will be conducted to select students presently studying in Class VIII (Eight) for award of Scholarship under the centrally sponsored scheme National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the academic session 2023-2024.

Port Blair, Nov. 16: Two seats in Physics one each in Category-IV and V, one seat in Home Science under Category 3C, one seat in Political Science under Category V and one seat under combined merit have fallen vacant for admission to 2 years B.Ed. Course for the academic session 2023-24 in Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair.
The counselling for admission to the above vacant seats is scheduled on 21st November 2023 in the Seminar Hall of Tagore Government College of Education, Port Blair at 9:30 AM. If no candidates are available in a particular category these seats will be distributed under combined merit as per the existing norms.
