Archana Singh, on assuming the charge of General Manager, NABARD called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas. Hon’ble Lt Governor recommended for providing investment and production credit for promoting various developmental activities in rural areas of A&N Islands.

Port Blair, May 12: The ANTCC Campaign Committee Chairman Mr TSG Bhasker on Friday demanded for providing frequent sailing of vessels to Campbell Bay Island.
In a letter addressed to the Director of Shipping Services, A&N Administration, Mr. Bhasker stated that the sailing of vessels to Campbell Bay is erratic and not in time.
He informed that the last sailing for Campbell Bay was on 1st May, 2023 which went via Campbell Bay to Chennai and now the next sailing is scheduled on 12th May, 2023.

Port Blair, May 12: As per the Meteorological Department’s weather report, thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph) is likely to occur at one or two places over Andaman Islands and thunderstorm with lightning and gusty wind (wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph) is also likely to occur at one or two places over Nicobar Islands on May 13.

Port Blair, May 12: It is brought to the notice of all candidates that while publication of Vacancy Notice of various Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts by the designated Nodal Departments/Appointing Authorities of the A&N Administration, wherein, the clause regarding “Provisional Certificate will not be accepted/entertained” has been mentioned.
Recently, representations/ requests/ emails have been received from the candidates to consider provisional certificates and degrees for the sake of eligibility till the time original certificates/degrees are issued by the concerned authorities to ensure their participation.
