It is brought to the notice of the general consumers and government departments that power supply will remain suspended at the following area on 14.09.2022 (Wednesday) from 0800 Hrs. to 1300 Hrs. in connection with cutting of dangerous tree by APWD near Kamraj Nagar. 

Port Blair, Sept. 13: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,97,425 doses of vaccine have been administered to beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above so far. Similarly, 23,970 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18 years. 28, 495 beneficiaries in the age group of 12 to 14 years have been administered both doses of vaccine. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 2,75,103.

Port Blair, Sept. 12: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration to reopen the Children's Traffic Park, situated inside Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex.

Port Blair, Sept. 13: One COVID positive case has been detected today in A&N Islands. Today, 11flights with 1830 passengers arrived, out of which, 1699 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 87 passengers and the reports are awaited.  

Port Blair, Sept. 12: Shri D. Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI(M) Andaman & Nicobar State Organising Committee along with a group of party leaders today met the agitating DBRAIT students at the DBRAIT gate, Dollygunj. Addressing the students, Ayyappan said that he had already taken up the issue of DBRAIT students with the Lt. Governor, Andaman & Nicobar through a letter on 25th August 2022.  He blamed the central government for the present state of affairs in the DBRAIT.
