Port Blair, April 1: The vaccination drive is continuing smoothly in A&N Islands. As per data available, a total of 6,10,418 beneficiaries in the age group of 18 and above have been vaccinated so far in A&N Islands. Similarly, 23,332 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 15 to 18yrs and 9,593 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the age group of 12 to 14 yrs. The number of beneficiaries administered precautionary dose of vaccine so far stood at 10,591.

Mr Rakeshwar Lall , State President Hindu Rashtra Shakti has expressed deep anguish over the sudden demise of Mrs Suraiya Begum, W/o Late Hyder Ali, Mother of Gulraiz and Sister of Irshad Bhai (Itchu), R/o- Babu Line , Near Netaji Club, Ward No 4. He prayed to the Almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, April 1: During the RT-PCR test conducted on 41passengers who arrived here yesterday, no positive case has been detected. Today, 5 flights with 463 passengers arrived, out of which, 402 passengers were vaccinated with both doses while RT-PCR test was conducted on 46 passengers and the reports are awaited.
