Port Blair, March 30: The Chairperson, PBMC, Smti.Kavitha Udhaya Kumar along with Shri.Azizur Rehman, Senior Vice Chairperson, PBMC, Shri. Port Blair, March 30: Under the provisions contained in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands (Panchayats) Regulation, 1994, on the re-constitution of Panchayat Samiti, Little Andaman, a Special Meeting was scheduled by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman for administering Oath of Allegiance and subsequent Election of Pramukh and the Up-Pramukh, Little Andaman Panchayat Samiti on 30.03.2022.

Port Blair, March 30: The Port Blair Municipal Council (PBMC) invites National Level ‘India Water Pitch-Pilot-Scale Start-up Challenge’ under AMRUT 2.0, Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs with the aim of encouraging start-ups to address challenges in the urban water sector. Following areas are eligible to participate:
1) Fresh water systems
2) Hydro informatics – use of water

Port Blair, March 30: The Former State President BJP-ANI, Shri Vishal Jolly had requested the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for extending the time limit to complete the e-KYC verification procedure of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi which was supposed to be completed by March 31, 2022. The e-KYC is required to receive Rs. 2000 in their bank accounts as part of the 11th instalment. The Chief Secretary has considered the request and extended the last date till 31st May 2022.

Andaman District Administration Through Special Drive Completes Oath Administering of all Panchayats

Port Blair, March 30: The District Administration in a special drive today have completed the oath administering ceremony to the office of Members, Pradhans and Up-Pradhans in respect of all the Panchayats coming under South Andaman District for which Pachayat elections was held.
